Jessica Haskins is an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow studying Atmospheric Chemistry at MIT in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering with Prof. Colette Heald. She received her B.Sc. in Earth, Atmospheric, & Planetary Sciences from MIT in 2014, and graduated with her Ph’D in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington in 2020. She is interested in utilizing data from a variety of sources to better understand trends in air quality and climate to help guide realistic representations of physical and chemical phenomenon in global climate models. She is currently researching whether the nighttime formation of organic nitrate aerosols as represented in a global model is comparable to existing field data, collected during 14+ field campaigns.
